Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.


We are seeking a Collaboration Engineer on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is hybrid in Sunnyvale, CA.


This role is critical to designing, deploying, and supporting modern collaboration solutions with a strong emphasis on Microsoft 365 (M365), while integrating key third-party platforms such as Zoom, Box, Slack, and Unily. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with a customer-focused mindset and an interest in AI-powered collaboration, including Microsoft 365 Copilot.



Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and support Microsoft 365 collaboration solutions, including Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Power Platform
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, secure digital workplace solutions
  • Act as a technical advisor for collaboration and digital workplace initiatives
  • Lead or support Microsoft 365 Copilot readiness assessments and deployments
  • Architect and support integrations across collaboration platforms, including Zoom, Slack, Box, and intranet solutions
  • Provide guidance on governance, security, compliance, and best practices across platforms
  • Partner with stakeholders, project teams, and vendors to ensure successful delivery and adoption
  • Support coexistence strategies across multiple collaboration tools in enterprise environments
  • Drive user adoption through enablement, training, and best practice recommendations


Skills and Qualifications:


Microsoft 365 Expertise:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Power Platform
  • Understanding of Microsoft 365 security, governance, identity (Entra ID / Azure AD), and lifecycle management

Collaboration Platforms:

  • Experience supporting Zoom, including meetings, webinars, phone, and AI features
  • Working knowledge of Slack in enterprise environments
  • Experience with Box for secure content management and sharing
  • Familiarity with digital workplace or intranet platforms such as Unily or similar

Additional Skills:

  • Experience in customer-facing, consulting, or enterprise IT roles
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, including security, scalability, and reliability
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders
  • Experience with AI-enabled productivity tools; Microsoft 365 Copilot experience preferred


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading enterprise collaboration or digital workplace transformations
  • Experience with platform integrations and multi-tool environments
  • Experience driving governance and adoption strategies for collaboration platforms
