We are seeking a Collections First Party Agency Manager on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote.



Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full collections lifecycle, from early delinquency to charge-off
  • Coordinate across internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely, compliant collections processes
  • Monitor performance metrics and workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend solutions
  • Act as liaison between collections, platform/product teams, and first-party agencies to drive issue resolution and process improvement
  • Create and maintain operational documentation, including playbooks, workflows, and QA controls
  • Collaborate with Compliance and Legal to align all activities with regulatory standards (e.g., FDCPA, UDAAP)
  • Support system-level tools in Salesforce, collections platforms, and payment systems (e.g., UAT, troubleshooting, and change management)
  • Contribute to reports and analyses on collections performance and risk trends


Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in collections operations; credit card or SMB lending preferred
  • Strong knowledge of collections strategies, tools, and regulatory requirements
  • Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration and external vendor management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; data-driven decision-making
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting

Preferred:

  • Experience with Salesforce, payment gateways, and dialer platforms
  • Familiarity with small business financial services and customer behavior
  • Experience supporting internal collections teams and coordinating with first-party agencies
