Job description
Commercial Litigator
Must Have: AM Law Experience Preferred
Nice to Have: New York Bar Admission Preferred
~10 hours/week
100% Remote
$90-225/hour based on experience
Position Overview:
Boutique law practice seeks an experienced commercial litigator to provide litigation support for real estate and commercial matters.
Responsibilities:
- Draft and refine pleadings, motion papers, and memoranda of law for New York cases, in both Supreme and Federal Court.
- Assist with judgment enforcement actions and breach of contract litigation.
- Ensure compliance with New York practice and formatting requirements.
- Conduct legal research using your own platform or resources.
Qualifications:
- Admission to the New York State Bar strongly preferred, open to other state licenses as well.
- Prior experience with AM Law firms preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in New York litigation procedures and document formatting.
- Strong analytical, writing, and research skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple matters efficiently.
- Efficiency in workflow and a clear understanding of the benefits of responsibly using AI tools in legal practice.
