We are seeking a Communications Manager on a contract basis to help support our Customer’s business needs. The role is 100% remote to these locations: Baltimore, MD, Boston, MA, Houston, TX, Los Angeles, and San Diego, CA, and Redmond, WA

What You’ll Do:

  • Create/Oversee document repositories, including identifying the right tools for the team, developing and driving best practices, etc.
  • Audit Google Drives
    • Devise naming conventions for folders
    • Hierarchy
    • Auditing process for out-of-date files
    • Archival process
  • Create/Design/Maintain G-site/webpage/wiki
    • List key points of contact on the site
    • Identify key documentation and stakeholders to manage content
  • Symposium coordination
    • Fast forward and keynote assistance - script development, coordinating and prepping speakers, researching content where necessary, and managing logistics
  • Manage webpage groups and posts
    • Create/Design a unified naming convention for Online Dispute Resolution (ODR)
  • Communication plan for internal and external communications (within and outside of the O&DR team)
    • Crisis Communications (i.e. Matrix shutdown)
    • Recurring communications (Local Modern Trade (LMT) newsletter, ODR Strategies, Research communications)
  • Structure/improve review documents
    • Working through ODR technical writers
    • Design/Create/Deploy communications regarding Demos with VPs, VIPs and other leaders
    • Train assist researchers to have a common understanding of communications
    • Create standardized communications
  • Communications template creation
    • Demos
    • Announcements
    • Symposium
    • Committee’s (ops/steering/technical)
  • Support leadership and team-to-team communication with streamlined processes and content development

Must-Haves:

  • 4+ years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to write clear professional concise workplace documentation, send out well-written emails, create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), write templates, and presentation templates
  • Ability to work in/flexible in learning different tools, G suite, and G sites
  • Quick learner of tools and eager to drive results
  • Self-directed, taking ownership, independently working, creating recommendations on efficiencies within tasks preferred
  • Seeking out efficiencies in tasks, research mentality preferred
  • Experience with stakeholder management, gathering feedback with proposals with all stakeholders preferred

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

Hours & Location:

  • M-F, 40 hours/week. This role will be 100% remote.
