Communications Specialist for AI Software and Platform Group (100% Remote)

The Mom Project is proud to partner with a San Jose-based company in their search for an experienced, remote Marketing Communications Specialist on a contract basis.

The Marketing Communications Specialist will support internal communication initiatives, maintain team resources, and help drive engagement in AI enablement and innovation programs. This entry-level role is ideal for a recent graduate seeking to launch a career in a fast-paced, innovative environment with exposure to AI-driven tools, programs, and collaborative initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update SharePoint sites to ensure information is accurate, engaging, and accessible.
• Support the development and execution of AI enablement programs, including content creation, event coordination, and communications.
• Contribute to the planning and implementation of hackathon programs, including logistics, promotion, and participant engagement.
• Use AI tools to improve efficiency and support various marketing and communication tasks.
• Track, analyze, and report on communication metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Perform administrative and general team support tasks as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience; internship or project experience considered.
• Familiarity with marketing communications principles and best practices.
• Comfort using AI tools to enhance productivity and workflow (ChatGPT/similar app, Templify, Grammarly, or Notion)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proactive, self-starting approach with strong problem-solving skills.
• Enthusiasm for contributing in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with SharePoint.
• Interest in AI technologies with a basic understanding of AI concepts and their applications in marketing.

Hours and Location:

• M-F, 40 hours/week
• 100% remote
