Our Customer is seeking a skilled and knowledgeable contract Communications Specialist to help support their business needs. This role is 100% remote in Eastern and Central Time zones.
The main function of a Communications Specialist is to assist corporate communications with message development, writing, and editing.
Responsibilities:
- Internal Comms: Prepare internal communications, including executive briefs, weekly & monthly business reviews, operational performance updates to ensure stakeholders across multiple functions & regions are aware of what is happening across the global operations.
- External Comms: Prepare external-facing communications that are shared with third party BPO vendors, such as business updates, audit & compliance guidelines, newsletters and other critical materials ensuring they are clear, accurate and aligned with the company's position.
- Executive Synthesis & Business Writing: Provide high-level synthesis of complex information to support executive decision-making and develop clear & concise business writing to communicate key messages to various audiences from operations to business stakeholders.
- Meeting Planning & Scheduling: Plan and schedule governance meetings with groups of executive attendees both internal and external to the company, who span across multiple time zones and locations.
- Materials Preparation & Collation: Prepare meeting materials, including collating inputs and summarising so that it is consumable by an executive audience.
- Meeting Attendance & Administration: Drive effective operation of governance meetings by curating agendas, documenting decisions and action items.
- Reporting Process management: Develop and manage reporting processes to track progress against goals and priorities, including data collection & analysis.
- Consolidation of updates: Create regular updates (monthly/quarterly) on progress against goals and priorities, consolidating information from various sources & presenting it in a clear & concise manner for exec audiences.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5-8 years in an operations or technology based environment, with core focus on communications
- Great Program Management skills
- Previous operational understanding preferred
- Previous worked in Tech Industry preferred
- Proven ability to deal with a fast paced environment and ambiguity
- Experience working with third-party vendors and across a wide range of stakeholders in multiple geographic regions.
- Strong organizational, analytical and verbal communication skills, with project management experience preferred
- Strong GSuite skills
