We are seeking a Compliance Specialist on a contract basis to help support our customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote.
This position is responsible for arranging, executing, and monitoring audits to ensure that EE’s controls and procedures meet regulatory requirements and internal standards. By analyzing control effectiveness, identifying gaps, and reporting on remediation activities, the Compliance Specialist helps drive operational excellence and risk mitigation. Their work involves collaborating with stakeholders to develop playbooks, key performance indicators, and process automation strategies, ensuring that compliance activities are both efficient and scalable. Through their expertise in compliance assurance and risk management, the Compliance Specialist enables the EE team to maintain a secure, reliable, and compliant infrastructure that supports Meta’s mission-critical business functions.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and test controls and processes. Monitor and advise on remediation activities.
- Report on control/process documentation, efficacy, performance, and metrics.
- Conduct analysis to identify trends/anomalies, and develop associated programs.
- Develop playbooks and KPIs to ensure assurance process excellence and effective and efficient utilization of vendor resources.
- Partner with stakeholders on process automation, optimization, tooling, and automation in support of core assurance processes.
Qualifications
- One or more relevant professional certifications (CIA, CISA, CMA, CA/CPA, etc.).
- Experience with compliance assurance in large, tech-driven organizations, performing risk assessments, and identifying associated controls across all areas of the business.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations, compliance testing methodologies, and risk management principles, with experience engaging with and building strategic relationships with regulators.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, including the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and assess their impact on business operations.
