We are seeking a Senior Compliance Operations Specialist on a contract basis to help support our customer’s business needs. This role is on-site in Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities:
- Support coordination of a compliance sanctions risk and control team and related projects through planning session facilitation and internal communications
- Provide strategic advisory support to team leadership to advance objectives and initiatives
- Lead the preparation and facilitation of sanctions-related meetings and reporting
- Develop presentation materials, talking points, agendas, and reports to support meetings and decision-making
- Create and maintain high-quality documentation, including procedures, flow charts, and process documentation
- Drive change management initiatives and support continuous process improvement efforts
- Streamline and enhance operational procedures within core control programs
Skills and Qualifications:
Must Have Experience
- Experience driving change management initiatives in compliance, risk, or regulated environments
- Advanced proficiency in creating executive-ready presentations and process documentation (procedures, flowcharts, process maps)
- Prior sanctions compliance or financial crime compliance experience
- FinTech or financial services industry experience
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience preparing and facilitating meetings, including agendas, presentations, and follow-ups
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
