Our Customer is seeking a Compliance Specialist – Mortgage Licensing on a contract basis to support high‑volume onboarding of Loan Officers. This role is 100% remote.


Responsibilities:

  • Process new mortgage license applications for Loan Officers
  • Support high-volume onboarding groups of 15–50 Loan Officers every two weeks, resulting in several hundred licensing actions per cycle
  • Manage licensing tasks within the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS) and track work through internal systems
  • Prepare for Continuing Education activities related to upcoming license renewal cycles
  • Partner with multiple internal business units during onboarding for cross-functional collaboration
  • Provide guidance to Loan Officers regarding licensing requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on mortgage licensing experience specific to mortgage licensing
  • High proficiency in using NMLS (Nationwide Multistate Licensing System) with the ability to independently execute licensing actions
  • Experience using Airtable for tracking and workflow visibility
  • Experience using DocuSign for licensing documentation
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, including Google Sheets and Google Drive
  • Familiarity with Excel and CSV exports for reporting purposes
  • Ability to manage high-volume workloads with shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to track multiple items simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment
