Job description

Ropers Majeski has an opportunity for a Construction Labor Law Litigation Associate with a minimum of three years of general litigation experience to join our New York office. Responsibilities will include handling matters in a variety of areas of litigation including New York Labor Law, general liability, premises liability, and some municipal liability. The position offers flexibility to work remotely or in the office.

Founded 75 years ago, Ropers Majeski maintains offices internationally and throughout the United States.

Skills and Educational Requirements

  1. JD degree
  2. Minimum of three years of general litigation experience
  3. Experience with New York Labor Law is preferred
  4. Ability to handle complex litigation matters from inception to trial, including preparation of pleadings and briefs, managing discovery and depositions, and conducting legal research, analysis, and writing
  5. Current NY Bar admission in good standing

  1. Base salary range for this position is $140,000 - $170,000, commensurate with experience
