Job description
Our client is searching for an ingenious creative director consultant to work alongside their innovative team. The creative director consultant should be adept at collaborating with other professionals, finding creative solutions, and preparing detailed proposals. You should also be prepared to pitch your ideas to stakeholders and to defend your standpoints when necessary.
An outstanding creative director consultant should be a proactive learner who is curious, disciplined, and flexible. You should know how to conduct research and identify problems, and also be able to ask questions without feeling self-conscious.
Creative Director Consultant Responsibilities:
- Preparing impeccable proposals and design briefs, and pitching them to clients or stakeholders.
- Understanding the needs of clients and directing campaign designs, website designs, social media creatives, and paid media creatives.
- Providing creative counsel via email, video, and voice calls, or in person.
- Equipping clients with resources and tools they can use in future projects.
- Identifying weaknesses in a campaign, design, or project, and suggesting improvements.
- Collaborating with clients and other specialists, but also completing tasks unsupervised.
- Remaining open to feedback.
- Defending creative decisions in an appropriate manner.
Creative Consultant Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree or postgraduate qualification in design, marketing, communications, art, creative writing, or a related discipline may be required.
- A portfolio of creative work.
- Familiarity with project management software like Trello, Slack, Monday, or similar.
- Superb collaboration and multitasking skills.
- Natural creative flair.
- Excellent technical aptitude.
- The ability to meet deadlines.
- Expertise in Illustrator
- InDesign
- Photoshop
- After Effects
- Familiarity with Figma
- Social media campaign design or direction
Experience
- Minimum 8+ years of graphic design
- Minimum 2 years of Creative Director role
- Minimum 2 years designing social media campaigns
- Minimum 2 years designing advertising/ landing pages
- Direct creative vision in digital
- Virtual creative direction
