Job description

Our customer is a leading global media and entertainment company that creates and distributes a large portfolio of content and brands across television, film, and streaming and is available in over 200 countries and territories and over 45 languages. Headquartered in New York, NY with more than 30 office locations in the United States.


We are seeking a Consumer Products Associate on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is on-site in Burbank, CA.



Responsibilities:

  • Support the Accessories Team in managing category initiatives, revenue planning, and execution
  • Assist in preparing quarterly forecasts, accruals, and annual budgets, including outreach to licensees, data collection, and analysis
  • Create, submit, and track merchandise contracts; initiate NDAs and import/customs documentation for licensees
  • Track product sell-in, launches, and performance metrics
  • Coordinate product features for social media and marketing channels
  • Maintain internal systems with up-to-date licensee contacts and product timelines
  • Develop and communicate category updates to internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage sample inventory and handle internal sample requests
  • Partner with Product Development, Marketing, and Publicity teams to support collaborations and launches
  • Conduct market research, white space analysis, and identify potential partners and business opportunities
  • Organize and maintain shared tools and documentation (e.g., SharePoint, Airtable, Box)
  • Assist in preparing presentation materials for internal and external use
  • Research and apply competitive insights and industry trends


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in licensing, retail, vendor, or entertainment environments
  • Basic knowledge of the licensing industry and a strong interest in the space
  • Understanding of financial forecasting and budgeting concepts
  • Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
  • Ability to create presentations and pitch materials
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities
  • Self-starter with a proactive, adaptable, and dependable mindset
