Our Customer is a consumer financial services company headquartered in Connecticut. The company offers consumer financing products, including credit, promotional financing, loyalty programs, installment lending to industries, and FDIC-insured consumer savings products through the consumer bank, its wholly-owned online bank subsidiary.
We are seeking a Content Consultant Writer and Project Manage Support on a contract basis to develop content that accurately reflects the company's platform/solution tone and brand. This role will help to write, research, edit, and/or proof health and wellness articles. The candidate in this role will project manage SME article reviews and workflow in Contently. Work closely with the company's content team and the company's earned media team to collaborate on planning and editorial schedules. This person must be collaborative, have strong attention to detail, and have a go-getter personality. This role is 100% remote and candidates must be able to work during Pacific Standard hours.
What You’ll Do:
- Build detailed creative briefs to kick off content projects for writers working closely with the SEO team
- Edit and revise content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency
- Review articles in QA and work with web publishers to launch content
- Enhance existing articles and new articles with additional content mediums (GIFs, podcast module, infographics, and sliders)
- Organize writing schedules and help plan weekly deadlines
- Help to refine workflows in Contently and work closely with the Managing Editor to give feedback
- Communicate with the writing team including, ME, editors, and web publishers
- Utilize learnings from earned media reports and Knotch to recommend improvements to content
- Work with the SEO team to maximize the online visibility of the company's website in search results
- Support the growth of the B2B content program including overseeing contently workflows
- Lead initiative to integrate new proprietary cost information into the existing and new articles
Must Haves:
- 3+ years of Project Management
- 5+ years of Writing and editing skills
- Must provide samples of short-form marketing writing (Health and Wellness samples preferred)
- Strong execution presence; the driver of the process
- Strong organizational and proactive critical thinking skills
- Strong demonstration of writing skills
- Applies business acumen and analytical mindset
- General marketing comprehension and knowledge
- Interest and aptitude for brand development & strategy
- Attention to detail and eye for quality

Education:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
Hours & Location:
- M-F, 40 hours/week. This role is 100% remote and candidates must be able to work during Pacific Standard hours.
