Job description
We are a self-care community for moms. The company is headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, where our first flagship fitness, self-care, and social studio (with onsite childcare!) will open in late 2024/early 2025. We are seeking a Social Media Specialist to create, schedule, and post branded, engaging social media marketing and advertising content to appeal to moms with young children. The ideal candidate is a Millennial Mom (for perspective) and a highly motivated, creative individual with experience and a passion for connecting with current and future customers in creative, relatable, and inspiring ways.
Content management duties
- Administrate the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content (for all channels and ads)
- Create a regular publishing schedule and promote content through social advertising
- Leverage the right tools to manage your content
- Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns
- Integrate all channels of marketing (social media, SEO, content marketing, email, print and digital marketing)
- Manage or oversee all social advertising campaigns
Core marketing responsibilities
- SEO (search engine optimization) and generation of inbound traffic
- Social media content creation and scheduling/posting
- Social media content analysis and adjustments to maximize follows/engagement
Qualifications/Skills
- 5 or more years formal experience with content creation and social media for a lifestyle brand
- Goal oriented, self-directed and self-motivated within a team environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent quantitative, analytical, marketing and communication skills
- Deadline and detail oriented
