Job description

Our Customer is seeking a Content Designer on a contract basis to help support their business needs. This role is hybrid (4 days on-site and 1 day remote/week) in Santa Monica, CA.



Responsibilities:

  • Write microcopy for new features across mobile apps, web platforms, and notification channels
  • Collaborate with product designers and product managers to develop and launch new product experiences
  • Name product features and ensure language consistency across product interfaces
  • Conduct language audits to ensure quality, clarity, and consistency in product copy
  • Partner with Localization and User Research teams to optimize content for global audiences and user needs
  • Participate in A/B testing initiatives to evaluate and improve content performance
  • Ensure product language is accessible, translatable, and aligned with UX writing best practices
  • Brainstorm and propose new product ideas and content-driven initiatives that improve key product metrics
  • Present content strategies and recommendations to senior leadership and advocate for content design decisions


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience writing for digital products such as mobile apps, websites, or email experiences
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to product development within technology or digital environments
  • Strong portfolio or case studies demonstrating measurable impact through content design
  • Ability to proactively identify problems and propose content-driven solutions
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to build effective working relationships with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent written communication skills with a strong understanding of UX writing principles
