Job description

We are seeking a Content Insights Analyst on a contract basis to support our Customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote.

This position will work closely with our programming, product, research, analytics, and marketing teams to help them understand content performance.. The focus will be on music, sports, streaming, and fandom experiences. The individual will work with a supportive team that is collaborative, hardworking, passionate, and creative!

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist in reporting of content KPIs for content launches
  • Provide standardized weekly and monthly reporting on entertainment content programs for internal stakeholders
  • Fulfill data needs for maintenance of partner relationships
  • Assist the team with ad hoc data requests related to entertainment virtual worlds and events
  • Work with Data Science, UXR, Marketing Insights, Data Engineering and other teams to outline and execute against research questions, reporting infrastructure, and other analytics needs for the entertainment content team
  • Stay abreast of VR, television, OTT and research industry news, trends and methodologies

Must-have Skills:
  • Experience working in data insights or content analytics functions at a digital platform, tech company, media company or relevant industry
  • Experience with analytics suites including dashboards, third-party tools, and raw data in excel or spreadsheets to synthesize trends and insights for different audiences including senior executives and peer set
  • Experience preparing polished reporting deliverables for internal and external audiences
  • Understanding of content partners, content business models, and the overall media landscape
  • High attention to detail and facility documenting workflows, schedules, and trackers

Nice-to-have Skills:
  • Former experience working at tech (content) platforms and knowledge of entertainment, video, and social platforms and products
  • Experience with ROI analyses on a digital platform
  • Experience with developing dashboards and using content management systems
  • Passion for current trends in pop culture, entertainment, sports and gaming, especially new technology in the AR/VR industry
  • Experience communicating external partner feedback to internal stakeholders
  • Experience with data analysis and making data-driven recommendations

Soft Skills:
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking ability
  • Strong collaboration skills with event partners
  • Understanding the business context of the work that is being conducted
