Job description

Content & Operations Coordinator

Part-Time Contractor | Remote

We're a small, fast-moving team helping leaders build visibility and presence at work. Everyone here operates with a high degree of ownership — we don't wait to be told what to do next.

Core Responsibilities

  • Draft, edit, and schedule the weekly newsletter; analyze performance and come to the table with specific ideas for what to test, change, or improve — not just numbers
  • Write social media content in Lorraine's voice with the help of AI — the goal is for you to own this fully over time, with Lorraine reviewing rather than writing from scratch
  • Manage the Instagram content calendar 2 weeks ahead; coordinate scripts and work with our video editor to keep content flowing
  • Handle brand deal post scheduling and deliver performance reports to our talent manager
  • Track metrics across Instagram, newsletter, and LinkedIn — with sharp analysis and recommendations, not just reporting
  • Create Canva graphics for newsletter, social posts, and presentations; maintain visual consistency across all branded materials
  • Design and update presentation decks for speaking engagements (ready 1 week out, no exceptions)
  • Prepare run sheets, feedback slides, and post-event debrief materials; collect testimonials after every engagement
  • Send the initial invoice for each engagement and flag overdue payments proactively
  • Manage Asana tasks with clear deadlines; communicate proactively if something will be late
  • Direct and coordinate with our video editor
  • Update website and press page monthly

Qualifications/Skills

  • Strong writer who can learn and replicate a distinct voice — you'll work closely with AI but the output should sound human and specific, not generic
  • Comfortable taking creative ownership of content over time, not just executing briefs
  • Strong design eye with hands-on Canva experience — you make things look polished without being told twice
  • Exceptional attention to detail — you catch errors before they go out, not after
  • Proactive communicator — you give ETAs, flag issues early, and never leave someone wondering if something got seen
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities without dropping balls
  • Active Claude and/or Claude Code user — required. We're an AI-native team and this is how we work. Please share examples of what you've built: automations, dashboards, workflows, internal tools, scripts, or prompts. Screenshots, Looms, GitHub links, or live demos all work. If you haven't built anything with AI yet or don't have interest in using AI, this isn't the right role.
  • Able to edit AI-generated content so it sounds like a human wrote it
  • US-based preferred for real-time responsiveness

Benefits/Perks

  • Direct mentorship and support — you'll learn how a personal brand at this level actually operates
  • Flexible hours — we care about output, not when you're at your desk
  • No bloated meetings
  • A genuinely kind, collaborative team

Screening Questions

  • AI proficiency — Share a specific example of something you've built using Claude, Claude Code, or another AI tool. What was the problem, what did you build, and what was the result? A link, screenshot, or Loom is great.
  • Voice and writing — Have you written content in someone else's voice before — social posts, newsletters, or similar? If so, how do you approach learning their voice, and how do you make sure the output sounds like them and not you?
  • Quality vs. deadlines — You're working on a time-sensitive deliverable and realize 30 minutes before the deadline that it's not up to the standard it needs to be. What do you do?
  • Analysis — You've been tracking newsletter metrics for 8 weeks and open rates have dropped three weeks in a row. Walk us through how you'd figure out what's happening and what you'd bring to your manager as a recommendation.
