Job description

We are seeking a Content Operations Manager on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is 100% remote.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage Content Ops processes, workflows, and systems including DAM, project management instance, and content calendar
  • Build and maintain documentation for processes and workflows, socializing these where necessary with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment and adherence
  • Partner with Content Strategists to develop a steady cadence for auditing the in-market content and asset repository, leading optimization and updates to ensure accuracy and brand-consistency
  • Project manage the development and execution of evergreen and campaign-based content initiatives, including building and maintaining workflows within the project management instance and liaising with partner teams to ensure the successful delivery of work
  • Support Content Strategists on the development and management of content architecture, taxonomy, and content journeys
  • Partner with Content leadership and Data Science to track, analyze and report on the performance of content programs
  • Act as conduit between Content and Web team to facilitate efficient content publishing/production across owned web properties
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by proactively identifying and surfacing opportunities for optimization, efficiency, and scalability across Content processes and systems

Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of content operations and/or content management experience
  • High level of comfort with the hands-on management of content tools and systems, including CMS (publishing and optimizing content), project management platforms (building workflows and managing projects in Jira, Asana, Airtable, etc), editorial calendars, and DAM/content repositories.
  • Excellent project management and organization skills — runs a tight ship in terms of their work, and is highly detail-oriented
  • Highly collaborative with a proven track record of working closely with crossfunctional stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes
  • Results-oriented thinker who understands and is motivated by ambitious goals and KPIs
  • Innately curious and eager to learn new things, with a bias for action

Preferred:
  • Copywriting and/or editorial experience, and the ability to maintain brand and tone consistency across assets and platforms
  • Sound understanding of SEO best practices and experience working on search intent content
  • Familiarity with buyer journey mapping and how to implement these concepts into high-performing content journeys
  • Previous experience managing a Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform
  • B2B SaaS, software, high tech industry experience
