Job description

Preference will be given to applicants who can work 3pm - 11pm ET.

The Mom Project is excited to partner with a legal technology company that has built an automated solution for simplifying the review and execution of routine legal agreements. Specifically, the Company applies cutting-edge technologies and sophisticated workflows to efficiently review, approve and finalize contracts for its clients.

They are looking to hire Contract Specialists (100% Remote and Flexible) to audit, review and finalize documents to meet client standards. The ideal candidate will have:

3+ years of professional experience in a paralegal or similar role with responsibility for reviewing and managing legal contracts in a finance, private equity, in-house counsel or law firm setting.
Basic familiarity with legal contract terminology and provisions (e.g., confidentiality, survival, non-solicitation, damages).
Excellent legal writing, editing and proofreading skills and attention to grammar and spelling.
Strong analytical skills.
Detail-oriented with an ability to work independently and manage time sensitive documents.
Paid training will be available. After successful completion of training, Contract Specialists will be paid at a rate of $35.00 per completed contract (includes reviewing and editing contracts and some follow up tasks, estimated to take one hour or less).

Hours/Self-Schedule:
Contract Specialists should be able to commit to at least 5 -10 contracts/ week (i.e., 5-10 hours per week with opportunity for more). You will be able to assign contracts to yourself on your own schedule. Ideally, you will be available on a regular schedule (morning, afternoon or evening) at least two business days / week (some weekend work is also available). Once you have assigned yourself a contract, it is expected to be completed promptly.
