Job description

Our customer is a leading global media and entertainment company that creates and distributes a large portfolio of content and brands across television, film, and streaming and is available in over 200 countries and territories and over 45 languages. Headquartered in New York, NY with more than 30 office locations in the United States.


We are seeking a Copywriter on a contract basis with a strong enough design sense to sub in for an art director, and/or vice versa. This role is hybrid in New York City (Hudson Yards), with on-site work expected Tues - Thurs and remote work on Mon/Fri.



Responsibilities:

  • Shape and evolve brand voice to reinforce a premium, high-quality identity
  • Lead creative development of social-first, PR-driven campaigns from concept to execution
  • Develop bold, culturally relevant campaign ideas designed for engagement, sharing, and earned media impact
  • Create platform-native content across TikTok, X, Instagram, YouTube, and Reddit
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including brand strategy, editorial, production, influencers, and creative teams
  • Identify cultural moments, trends, and community-driven opportunities to inform campaign direction
  • Deliver creative work that aligns with brand positioning and meets high standards for originality and impact
  • Pitch innovative campaign concepts designed to generate cultural relevance and media attention
  • Execute fast-turn creative in response to real-time trends and audience behavior


Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in advertising, branded content, social media, or PR
  • Proven ability to develop high-impact campaigns that generate strong audience engagement
  • Deep understanding of entertainment, pop culture, and social media trends
  • Strong conceptual thinking with the ability to execute ideas independently
  • Experience creating content tailored to platform-specific formats and audiences
  • Strong collaboration skills across creative and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to identify emerging cultural trends and translate them into actionable ideas
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, real-time creative environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience creating viral or culturally impactful campaigns
  • Strong understanding of influencer ecosystems and online communities
  • Background in entertainment, media, or streaming platforms
  • Ability to develop a brand voice that feels authentic, human, and culturally relevant
