Screening Questions
- A founder incorporated on their own through an online service about a year ago. They've just signed a seed term sheet and we're taking them on as a client. What are you looking for when you open their records?
- Walk me through the last priced round you closed. What did you personally own, and what went sideways?
- Tell me about a time you found an error in a cap table or a corporate record — either one you inherited or one you made.
- It's late, a signing is tomorrow, and you spot what you think is a real problem in a document a partner drafted. How do you raise it?
- Three closings land the same week and two partners each tell you theirs comes first. What happens next?
