Job description

Our client is looking for a Corporate Receptionist/Administrative Assistant. This position will serve as “the face” of the company to guests and other outsiders and work to ensure the smooth running of our office environment. This position will sit right outside the CEO’s office and will have lots of facetime with the executive team. This position handles a diverse group of external and internal callers and provides administrative support to senior management, excellent judgment, and organizational skills will be required. The position also requires personal support to the CEO such as but not limited to: picking up coffee, lunch, dry cleaning and other tasks as requested.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Greeting and welcomes visitors and directs them to appropriate person
  • Answer two phone lines in a friendly manner, direct calls and take messages
  • General office duties such as filing, copying, scanning
  • Operate office machines such as photocopiers, scanners, computers
  • Administrative support for several departments
  • Scheduling meetings
  • Record keeping
  • Order supplies for office needs
  • Mailing and shipping
  • Run errands when needed
  • Travel arrangements, and special projects as assigned

Education and Skills Required:

  • Minimum of an Associate’s Degree is required
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Applications
  • Candidates must be polished, professional, motivated, organized, and dependable
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to work well alone or with a team, for a high-level output
  • Must be comfortable taking direction from entire staff
  • Must be able to prioritize
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and credible
