Corporate Tax Preparer – C-Corp Compliance (100% remote)

The Mom Project is honored to partner with our client in their search for a Corporate Tax Preparer - C-Corp Compliance.

This role is 100% remote. If candidates prefer to work seasonally, year-around, or specific time frames, our client will support a flexible schedule. The ideal candidate will able to accommodate 30-40 hours/week.

Responsibilities:

In this role you will primarily be responsible for augmenting our client's tax engagement teams in applying tax laws, regulations and accounting principles to analyze financial information, prepare or review accurate and timely income tax provisions, corporate tax returns, tax payments and income tax accounting entries while delivering outstanding client service. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare/review quarterly and annual global tax provisions
• Prepare/review monthly tax forecasts
• Prepare/review U.S., international, and state corporate tax returns
• Research and document findings related to U.S. federal, state, and international tax issues
• Handle other special projects, duties and responsibilities as assigned
• Learn/use company's tax technology applications through on?the?job training
• Ensure the confidentiality of each client by following all company procedures

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years in tax accounting required, preferably with a Big Four or Regional Firm
• ASC740 & C-Corp Compliance experience
• CPA certification
• Strong skills in tax research and writing
• Supervisory experience
• Corporate tax return review experience
• BS in Accounting required

This role is ranging between $40-60/hour and compensation will commensurate with experience.
