Employment Type: Part-Time (20-28 hrs/week)
Compensation: Commensurate on experience

We’re a boutique CPA firm dedicated to providing personalized audit, tax, and advisory services to small businesses, nonprofits, and individuals. We’re looking for a motivated part-time Audit and Tax Associate to join our growing practice and play a key role in client service and technical execution.
Responsibilities:
Audit (65%)
- Assist in planning and executing financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations
- Perform substantive testing and analytical procedures
- Prepare audit workpapers and documentation in accordance with professional standards
- Communicate findings and recommendations to clients and partners
Tax (35%)
- Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and nonprofits
- Conduct tax research and stay current on changes in tax laws
- Assist in tax planning and advisory services for clients
- Respond to IRS and state agency notices and inquiries
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (CPA or CPA-eligible preferred)
- 4–5 years of experience in public accounting (audit and/or tax)
- Strong understanding of GAAP, audit procedures, and tax regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., CCH ProSystem fx, or similar)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team environment
