Job description

We are seeking a Creative Production Manager on a contract basis to help support our customer’s business needs. This role is hybrid (3 days onsite and 2 days remote/week) in NYC.



Responsibilities:


Studio & Production Operations

  • Oversee all aspects of studio management to ensure smooth daily operations and a productive creative environment
  • Manage studio slot bookings by balancing client needs, in-house resources, and contingent or freelance talent
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet high standards of quality and client satisfaction

Client-Facing Coordination

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients using the studio
  • Manage client expectations and ensure a seamless end-to-end studio experience
  • Coordinate task management, partner communications, and program tracking
  • Align client briefs with studio resources, schedules, and capabilities

Resource Management

  • Coordinate allocation of in-house and contingent resources to maximize creative impact
  • Partner closely with studio coordinators and freelance teams to manage scheduling and handoffs
  • Onboard and manage tools and vendors that support scalability, agility, and AI-enabled workflows

Process Development & Optimization

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve studio processes, guidelines, and best practices
  • Identify opportunities to increase efficiency, scalability, and production quality
  • Create toolkits and operational resources aligned with strategic objectives

Reporting & Communication

  • Prepare and deliver reports on studio utilization, bookings, and operational performance
  • Communicate insights, updates, and recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients


Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in studio management, creative production, or similar operational roles
  • Hands-on experience overseeing studio operations and creative workflows
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage complex schedules
  • Excellent client-facing communication and relationship management skills
  • Experience coordinating resources across multiple teams, locations, or regions
  • Ability to design and implement scalable operational processes
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment


Preferred:

  • Experience using studio booking systems or production management tools
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, creative production, or agency operations
  • Experience working with both in-house and freelance or contract talent
  • Interest in emerging technologies, process innovation, and AI-enabled tools
