Job description

Our Customer is a technology company that connects people with the best of their neighborhoods across the US, Canada, Australia, Japan, and Germany. They enable local businesses to meet consumers’ needs of ease and convenience, and, in turn, generate new ways for people to earn, work, and live. By building the last-mile logistics infrastructure for local commerce, they’re fulfilling their mission to grow and empower local economies.

We are seeking a CRM Associate Manager on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote.

The CRM Associate Manager will support US Local Markets growth initiatives by leading CRM campaigns across owned channels such as email, push notifications, and in-app banners. This role will partner closely with Strategy & Operations, Merchant Account Managers, Analytics, and Product teams to develop, test, and optimize customer engagement initiatives. The position requires strong project management, technical, and analytical skills, along with a deep understanding of customer retention and CRM operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Own CRM strategy for US Local Markets consumer campaigns and experiments, including channel selection and send cadence.
  • Create and implement frameworks for rapid testing across CRM channels.
  • Manage end-to-end development and execution of email, push, and in-app campaigns.
  • Draft and manage creative briefs, ensuring timely delivery of campaign assets, copy, and design.
  • Pull and manage campaign lists from Snowflake using SQL; upload audiences to marketing platforms.
  • Track initiatives, report progress to stakeholders, and identify insights and learnings from campaign results.
  • Optimize engagement metrics through A/B testing, CRM insights, and performance analysis.
  • Investigate and address performance inconsistencies to maximize campaign scale and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Strategy & Ops, Account Managers, Analytics, Product) to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Stay current on best practices in email, push, CRM operations, and retention marketing, and regularly share insights with the team.

Skills and Responsibilities:

  • 4+ years of experience in customer retention marketing, engagement, or CRM operations.
  • Strong track record of developing retention programs and exceeding performance targets.
  • Highly motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate messaging and value propositions into channel-specific copy tailored to the customer lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to create and execute data-driven strategies.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (Master’s degree a plus).

Preferred

  • Basic knowledge of SQL, HTML, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Periscope).
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar CRM platforms.
  • Spanish language fluency.

We offer a competitive salary range for this position. Most candidates who join our team are hired at the median of this range, ensuring fair and equitable compensation based on experience and qualifications.
