Our Customer is seeking a CRM Data Quality Analyst on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is 100% remote.
This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of CRM data that powers sales, account management, and marketing initiatives.
You will play a critical role in maintaining clean and reliable data across systems, enabling better decision-making, campaign execution, and partner engagement. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Account Management, and Operations teams.
Responsibilities:
- Reconcile data across multiple systems, including CRM platforms, internal tools, and reporting dashboards, to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Identify, investigate, and resolve duplicate, incomplete, or inconsistent records within the CRM
- Execute bulk data cleanup and normalization, including standardizing naming conventions and account hierarchies
- Conduct regular audits of CRM data and proactively identify data quality issues
- Build and maintain data validation rules, workflows, and quality assurance processes
- Partner with Sales, Account Management, and Operations teams to resolve data discrepancies and reinforce best practices
- Document data processes, cleanup methodologies, and governance standards
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance data hygiene and scalability
- Set up new customer records and validate customer information for accuracy and completeness
- Contact customers to gather missing information and verify data as needed
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer data setup issues using established processes
- Escalate complex issues and collaborate with leadership or IT for resolution
- Complete requests within defined timelines and provide status updates to stakeholders
- Create and maintain master data procedures and documentation
- Identify and escalate technical issues in production environments
- Support projects and initiatives related to data quality and operations
Skills and Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in data quality, CRM management, or operations roles
- Hands-on experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce or similar platforms
- Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
- Experience with data reconciliation, cleansing, and validation techniques
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify patterns and inconsistencies
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting Sales Operations, Ads, or Promotions teams
- Familiarity with franchise or multi-location business models
- Basic SQL or experience querying datasets
- Experience working with large datasets and bulk data operations
- Exposure to data governance or data stewardship practices
