We are seeking a Customer Education Specialist on a contract basis to help support our Customer’s business needs.
What You’ll Do:
- You’ll work cross-functionally with all of Customer Success, Sales, Support, Marketing, and Product to create and update engaging training content for customers and prospects: e-learning (SCORM) classes, tutorial videos, and live, virtual sessions.
- You’ll primarily be designing and building content to support the launch of new features and also updating older content to incorporate new functionality in Workplace and teaching highly interactive live, virtual classes to our customers.
- You’ll also be evangelizing our content both internally to employees and externally to our partners, prospects, and customers.
Must-Haves:
- Experience building SCORM-based e-learning classes. Experience in Evolve preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with LMS administration, ideally the Exceed platform
- A love of live, virtual training facilitation and the ability to be both engaging and interactive.
- Familiar with the tools of the trade: video editing, SCORM-based content creation, LMSs, and virtual classroom platforms
- The ability to quickly shift between project management and on-the-ground content creation
- A strong sense of what it takes to enable non-technical learners on software and business process.
- A self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and who is equally comfortable with gathering feedback and making instructional design decisions.
- A dedicated generalist who goes out of their way to learn new skills and who loves to have their hands in lots of different types of projects.
- Passionate about breaking the mold on training: someone who is constantly looking to try new things just for the sake of trying them.
- A lover of cross-functional work who proactively looks to solve problems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in test prep or acting.
- Background in internal communications.
- Familiarity with training programs aimed at improving user adoption.
- Design or animation experience.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Hours & Location:
- M-F, 40 hours/week. This role will be remote while COVID restrictions are in place. The expectation is to be onsite at our Customer’s New York, NY office once it is determined safe to do so.
