  • Status: Full-time (40hrs) role after successful training period (35+)
  • Pay: $19/hr


We are excited to partner with our client, a snack company that has delighted customers during the holiday season for over 100 years! This Chicago-based company is looking to fill seasonal positions on their Customer Experience Team.

The Customer Experience Agent is responsible for delivering a positive experience while supporting sales and assisting customers with a variety of product questions and concerns. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver and skilled multi-tasker, being able to manage multiple systems while working in a fast-paced environment. They should be able to communicate effectively via phone, chat, and email; demonstrating a proactive approach to assisting our fans. They display a positive attitude, are self-motivated, and a true customer advocate.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Build and maintain lasting relationships supporting customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.

• Must strive for accuracy, speed, and excellent customer service.

• Accurately track customer interactions within our customer service applications, including Zendesk.

• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns.

• Provide order assistance and assist our sales team by capturing necessary pre-sale information.

• Offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with company expectations.

• Provide timely and thorough resolution for common inquiries.

• Be knowledgeable on company products, new releases, and features.

• Be engaged. Communicate with management to escalate problems, recommend resolutions, and improve the customer experience.

• Ability to work any full-time 8-hour shift during hours of operation; Mondays through Saturdays from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm CDT and Sundays from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm CDT.

Must also have the following Qualifications/Experience:

• Customer Service experience is required.

• Demonstrate clear and professional communication skills (written and verbal).

• Show empathy and compassion, maintain a friendly demeanor in stressful situations.

• Must must be able to enthusiastically motivate customers to purchase products and/or services.

• Proficiency in cloud based based-systems and Microsoft office applications required.

• Experience with Zendesk or other CRM ticket-based system a plus.

• Must be able to adhere to schedule and have a dedicated work area that provides privacy.

• Applicants must pass classroom training and meet performance expectations.

• Applicants must have high-speed internet and provide passing network testing results.

Pay = $19 p/h

Full-time role after successful training period (35+).
