We are seeking a Customer Logistics and Supply Chain Specialist on a contract basis who will support the Customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote.
Responsibilities:
- Manage planned activities and resolve issues that affect multiple orders and customers.
- Lead cross-functional meetings to resolve customer, order, and supply chain issues.
- Perform day-to-day customer service activities and manage escalated service issues.
- Identify service trends and opportunities and address customer concerns.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and project management efforts with cross-functional teams.
- Manage high-volume promotional activities and ensure end-to-end execution of customer requirements.
- Process customer service activities, including order entry, expedited orders, order changes, customer pickups, credits, transportation issues, product cuts, delivery changes, credit hold resolution, vendor-managed inventory, EDI order corrections, and order consolidation.
- Manage planned activities, including allocations, holiday schedules, new item implementations, warehouse openings and closings, item discontinuations, and SAP implementations.
- Manage unplanned activities, including transportation issues, redirects, quality holds, open orders, capacity constraints, and product shortage processes.
- Investigate and validate customer claims, fines, deductions, and transportation-related charges.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers.
- Attend customer meetings, sales meetings, forecast meetings, and internal stakeholder meetings.
- Identify trends in customer issues and recommend process improvements.
- Partner with supply planning, logistics, transportation, and product supply teams to resolve order flow concerns.
- Manage customer and stakeholder phone calls and emails, and ensure timely resolution.
- Coordinate customer order changes, track orders, and reschedule deliveries as needed.
- Apply business knowledge and best practices to resolve order management issues and meet customer delivery requirements.
- Work independently to manage escalations and resolve complex customer and supply chain issues.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role.
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
- Strong communication and business writing skills.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive issue resolution.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external partners.
- Knowledge of supply chain, order management, and customer service processes.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, stakeholders, and all levels of management.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 3 years of customer-facing experience.
- 3 years of call center experience.
- Experience with Salesforce.
- Experience with SAP.
- Experience with CRM databases.
- Experience with Genesys.
- Knowledge of product supply and order management systems.
