Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.
We are seeking a Customer Program Specialist on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote.
The Customer Program Specialist is responsible for coordinating a critical component of the Technology Training Pathway. This position focuses on developing and streamlining processes, enhancing operational efficiency, and building key cross-functional relationships to ensure the successful execution of customer programs. Specialists consistently deliver a high level of service, ensuring an exceptional customer experience with every interaction.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Customer Training, Marketing, and cross-functional teams to support end-to-end program coordination, including system setup, communications, registration, logistics, payments, and follow-up.
- Manage program approval flows and process exceptions as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Maintain and manage event resources within business systems, ensuring accurate and searchable data for sales teams.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Support new sales representatives with the registration request process using Salesforce (SFDC).
- Mentor new hires and assist with onboarding across cross-functional groups.
- Build strong working relationships with medical professionals, including surgeons and hospital administrators.
- Maintain critical documentation, including standard operating procedures for key processes.
- Maintain working knowledge of all programs and events coordinated by the team and provide support as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably within the biotech or medical device industry.
- Strong leadership-by-example, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.
- Proven ability to develop, refine, and implement new processes supporting evolving business needs.
- Ability to analyze complex situations and collaborate to drive creative, effective solutions.
- Demonstrated success in managing competing priorities and delivering programs on time.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to take ownership of responsibilities with minimal direction.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
- Proven ability to train others on new systems or processes via phone, web conference, or in person.
Preferred:
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Working knowledge of CRM and ERP systems (Salesforce and SAP strongly preferred).
- Experience working with database applications.
