We are seeking a Customer Service Representative on a contract basis to help support their ongoing business needs. This role is remote in any of the following locations: Tysons and Richmond, VA, and Plano, TX.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8-5 Eastern Time
Responsibilities:
- Interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services
- Handle and resolve customer service and billing complaints, including exchanges, refunds, and bill adjustments
- Respond to customer inquiries and follow up on claim investigation results and planned adjustments
- Escalate unresolved customer issues to the appropriate internal departments for further investigation
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken
- Gather and review relevant information to assess complaint validity and determine root causes
- Proactively offer additional products or services when appropriate
- Manage inbound, outbound, or blended customer service calls
- Work independently to manage assigned cases while meeting service-level expectations
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 5-7 years of customer service or call center experience
- Experience working in a remote customer service environment preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail with accurate documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Experience using Google Workspace tools required
- Familiarity with call center phone systems preferred
- Proficiency with standard computer applications such as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
