With roots dating back to the 1800s, our Customer is a global professional services firm HQ’d in New York City with businesses in insurance brokerage, risk management, reinsurance services, talent management, investment advisory, and management consulting. We are seeking a Customer Service Representative on a contract basis to support our Customer’s business needs. This role is remote in the following locations: Urbandale, IA, Franklin, MA, Houston, TX, Tampa, FL, and Miami, FL.


Candidates may need to go into the office if there are technical issues.



Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound calls, assisting callers with benefit elections and pension-related questions
  • Provide support regarding upcoming changes and program updates
  • Navigate multiple systems to locate information and document call notes
  • Maintain professionalism and accuracy while managing high call volumes
  • Follow scheduled shifts, breaks, and lunch periods consistently
  • Support callers in a remote work environment with adherence to performance standards

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills, including navigating multiple screens, searching knowledge bases, and typing notes
  • Ability to work scheduled shifts between 7:45 AM and 6:00 PM CST
  • Ability to work remotely in a quiet, professional environment with no background distractions
  • Internet speed of at least 50 Mbps with a hardline Ethernet connection
  • Ability to adhere to the training schedule with no planned time off during the training period
  • Willingness to work occasional overtime
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

Preferred:

  • Prior call center experience
  • Experience working in an office environment
  • Experience with pensions or benefits-related services
