Job description

100% Remote
Part-Time
CPA Required

We are looking for a part-time CPA with a background in IT risk assurance, compliance, and cyber security third-party reporting.


This role requires a CPA license to be the engagement signing partner on our SOC 2 and other attestation reports.

  1. SOC1, SOC2 & SOC3 Final Report reviews & signoffs
  2. Reviewing and checking for quality assurance standards
  3. Providing feedback and review comments to attest management teams.

Qualifications:

  1. Maintains an active Certified Public Accountant Certification
  2. 8+ years of experience within the IT compliance audit industry.
  3. Experience reviewing and signing off on SOC1, SOC2 and SOC3 Reports
  4. Experience working with clients that utilize Cloud Infrastructure.

This role will be internal facing to client engagement teams from planning to report issuance.

Key skills/experience:

  1. Experience mentoring and coaching other managers or people leaders
  2. 8+ years in attest, IT audit or cybersecurity industry experience
  3. Experience with and strong understanding of client management and engagement best practices
  4. Strong communication skills including written, verbal, presentation, coaching, giving and receiving feedback
  5. Strategic, critical thinking and problem solving skills
  6. Strong track record for project and people management (note this is not a people manager role)
  7. Must have CPA
  8. Industry learning certifications nice to have (e.g. CISA, CISSP, ISO LA, HITRUST CSF/CHQP, PCI QSA)
