Job description

We are seeking a Project Manager on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is hybrid (3 days onsite and 2 days remote/week) in New York, NY.

This role will support, drive, and execute high-priority initiatives for the company. The successful candidate will be an experienced project manager with a technology, cybersecurity, and risk management background. The candidate should understand technology functions and organizations and possess strong analytical, planning, strategic thinking, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Business Information Security Office.
  • Lead Information Security Standard and risk-related projects and programs using Agile methodologies by providing strategic direction to projects, peers, and direct reports.
  • Design, develop, and manage project plans in a complex dynamic environment, revising plans as needed to meet changing requirements.
  • Ensure projects are documented appropriately to mitigate risk and are delivered on time.
  • Leverage problem-solving and influencing skills to ensure project plans deliver on their intent.
  • Partner cross-functionally with stakeholders to drive project delivery effectively.
  • Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to drive project/program efforts effectively.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in time-sensitive environments.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Proven track record of excellent project management.
  • At least 4 years of project management experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity and information security concepts.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as ADO or JIRA Boards.


Preferred:
  • 4+ years of project management experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in technology risk management execution (tech & cyber controls management).
  • 1+ years of experience with risk management frameworks, ITGC, and AWS cloud environments.
  • PMP, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
