Job description

We are seeking an AR/VR Prototyper on a contract basis to help support our customer’s business needs. This role will research, design, and create prototypes in areas including augmented and virtual reality products. A typical prototyper is responsible for building and enhancing prototyping platforms in partnership with other prototypers and technical teams.

You’ll Do:

  • Research, design, and create interactive prototypes.
  • Collaborate with other Design teams to build new / enhance existing experiences.
  • Set up and communicate prototypes and present them to various audiences.
  • Communicate rationale and intent to your cross-functional partners.
  • Identify and implement the appropriate constraints to ensure technical feasibility.
  • Give and solicit real-time feedback from others in order to approve the quality of the product.
  • Partner effectively with cross-functional partners to implement the user experience.
  • Contribute to strategic decisions, working with the Design, Product, and Executive teams.
  • Create provides clarity on how a particular experience feature or function needs to work through the creation of UX vignettes in augmented or virtual reality.
  • Create product-ready assets for internal rapid testing and external release

Must-Haves:

  • 2-5 years of related experience
  • Experience with real-time 3D development and AR/VR development
  • Knowledge and experience in Unity
  • Expert programming ability in one or more languages (C#, C/C++, Python, Java)
  • Creativity, verbal and written communication skills and problem solving ability are required.
  • Expert ability to visualize in 3D and understand aesthetic aspects of design.
  • Expert problem solving and conflict resolution skills

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience required

Hours & Location:

  • M-F, 40 hours/week. This role is 100% Remote.
