Job description
A partner of The Mom Project in the automotive industry is seeking a contract Data Analyst to help support their business needs.
The DRP Data Analyst will focus on dashboard development, reporting, and analysis for the Digital Retail Platform (DRP) team. This role centers on performance and operational metrics critical to managing business performance at both the brand and dealer levels. The position requires strong analytical and technical skills, with a focus on building scalable reporting processes and delivering insights that drive decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand objectives and translate data requests into actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports focused on performance, leads, sales, and funnel metrics.
- Conduct monthly reporting on brand and DRP site performance, including leads, sales, clickstream data, funnel conversion, and behavioral trends over time.
- Perform ad hoc analyses on lead-to-sale conversion, vehicle detail page (VDP) and vehicle search result (VSR) performance, CTA effectiveness, dealer inquiries, and related metrics.
- Analyze site behavior data, including mobile versus desktop usage, engagement with CTAs, clickstream activity, heat mapping, and content interaction.
- Identify opportunities to streamline data gathering, automate reporting, and improve accessibility to business insights.
- Work cross-functionally with minimal supervision to ensure data accuracy and timely delivery of reports.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence.
- Expertise in SQL for querying, data extraction, and transformation.
- Proficiency with Power BI for dashboard creation and visualization.
- Familiarity with Azure and Databricks is a plus.
- Experience with Adobe Analytics and understanding of clickstream data.
- Python proficiency preferred.
- Strong ability to translate technical data into meaningful business insights.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Detail-oriented, curious, and creative problem solver with a passion for data storytelling.
Hours and Location:
- Core hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST
- Tuesdays - Thursdays in office, Mondays and Fridays remote
