Job description

By building the last-mile logistics infrastructure for local commerce, they’re fulfilling our mission to grow and empower local economies.


Our customer is seeking a Data Analyst-I on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is 100% remote.


Responsibilities:

  • Sets up new customers, establishing the customer role in the system.
  • Contacts customers to request additional information and to verify customer data.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves issues relative to customer setup using established guidelines.
  • Works with supervisor to develop solutions when problem is more complex of affects multiple processes across the department.
  • Completes requests within established timeframes and keeps requestor notified of status.
  • Ensures data accuracy, validity, and completeness in results.
  • Creates and updates core master data procedures as directed.
  • Begins to demonstrate understanding of processing customer requests to downstream processes/systems.
  • Participates on projects as required and assigned by management.
  • Identifies technical issues encountered in the production environment to the IT department and escalates for resolution.
  • Part time, 30 hours / week with ability for overtime 1–2-week sprints, comfortable context switching, learning new things quickly and being quick to adapt
  • Monitoring 5-10 orders at a time, working on side projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication of what you’re working on (remote transparency) 1-2 weekends / month

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Customer service: responsive communication, follow-up, and issue resolution
  • Data validation, accuracy checks, and issue troubleshooting
  • Order monitoring and managing multiple requests simultaneously
  • Clear communication with customers and internal teams
  • Escalating technical/system issues to IT / engineering teams
  • SOP updates, process improvement, and fast-paced remote work
  • Must be comfortable in Excel / Google Sheets
  • Experience 2.5+ years of data entry and back office operations
  • Preference for experience in logistics, customer support, IT
