Job description

The Mom Project is excited to partner with a project management and development company who is seeking a Power Platform Consultant to perform work on various projects/programs with a business and technical scope. The ideal candidate great energy, communication skills, and problem-solving skills and who have the proven ability to develop and reverse engineer complex solutions. The role will require in-depth experience in Microsoft Cloud Technologies including: PowerApps, Power BI, SharePoint, PowerAutomate and others to empower our daily transactions.

Responsibilities:

- Create, configure and support Power Apps, Power Automate workflows & Power Bi dashboards.

- Translate abstract business requirements into actionable technical requirements which can be executed using Power Apps, utilizing best practices within the Power Platform Community

- Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools.

- Develop custom visuals for Power BI

- Integrate Power BI reports with other applications using embedded analytics such as Power BI service or API automation

- Should have knowledge of prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis

- Develop data models as per business requirements

- Design methodologies and prepare project documentation

- Develop warehouse standard tabular and multidimensional models

- Build analysis services reporting models

- Translate raw data into informative visuals and reports

- Have an understanding of the application security layer

- Build DAX queries on the Power BI desktop.

- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, application users, and program owners

- Perform other related duties and assignments as required

Qualifications:

  • Strong hands-on experience in the Microsoft Power Platform, including: Power Apps, Power Automate (Flow), Power Apps, Power BI, DataVerse & SharePoint.
  • Database design, maintenance, querying (views, stored procedures, indexes, primary & foreign keys, constraints, etc.).
  • Strong hands-on experience with DAX
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Office VBA
  • Ability to compose complex SQL queries and layout normalized, transactional tables
  • Microsoft Visio or other process flow application experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
  • Ability to work in a complex environment with changing requirements

Preferred Skills:

  • Web development methodologies, and development, experienced with web-based technologies, including HTML code, CSS layout, Dynamics 365 APIs and CSS
  • JSON query language including REST services, Authentication and Authorization
  • Working knowledge of Power Query
  • Agile/Scrum experience
  • Dynamics 365
