Our Customer is the world's leading music company that owns and operates a broad array of businesses engaged in recorded music, music publishing, merchandising, and audiovisual content in more than 60 countries. They identify and develop recording artists and songwriters, and produce, distribute and promote the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful music to delight and entertain fans around the world.
We are seeking a Data Entry Clerk on a contract basis to help support our Customer’s business needs. This role is hybrid (3 days on-site and 2 days remote/week) in Franklin, TN.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and process information from music queue sheets
- Work closely with coordinators and team leads to support daily operations and workflows
- Receive and process queue sheet data related to film and TV copyright information
- Identify publishing information and controlled songs within documentation
- Enter and maintain music publishing and copyright data accurately within internal systems
- Review and organize music-related documentation and metadata
- Support data processing workflows with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Learn and apply copyright and music publishing processes through training provided by the team
Skills/Qualifications
- Entry-level experience with strong data entry and administrative support skills
- Strong Excel skills (in-person Excel assessment required during second interview)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage repetitive tasks efficiently
- Ability to work closely with teams and follow established processes
- Driven, proactive, and eager to learn
- Background or interest in music business, publishing, film, or TV is a plus
- Basic Adobe experience is helpful but not required
