Job description

We are seeking a Data Entry Specialist on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote.


Responsibilities:

  • Create templates to extract data from tax documents with a high level of accuracy.
  • Perform spot-checking, labeling, and document redactions as required.
  • Understand and quickly adapt to applications and tools used for data extraction.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency, as the work directly impacts tax filing customer experience.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Prior QA experience preferred.
  • Experience creating templates is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of tax documents, including W-2, 109x, and 1040 forms (mandatory).
  • Proficiency in Excel, XML, JSON, and related tools (mandatory).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to quickly learn and apply new tools.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in repetitive tasks.
