Job description

Our Customer is a technology company that connects people with the best of their neighborhoods across the US, Canada, Australia, Japan, and Germany. They enable local businesses to meet consumers’ needs of ease and convenience, and, in turn, generate new ways for people to earn, work, and live. By building the last-mile logistics infrastructure for local commerce, they’re fulfilling their mission to grow and empower local economies.

We are seeking a Data Operations Analyst – SQL (CPG/Retail) on a contract basis to support the growth of the CPG Ads business by establishing and executing a new data-tracking workstream, ensuring accuracy and consistency across advertiser accounts and catalogs. This role will work cross-functionally with Sales, Catalog, and Operations teams to maintain advertiser data in Salesforce and internal systems, audit and improve data integrity, and build scalable processes to support long-term efficiency. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable with repetitive tasks, and skilled at leveraging data analysis and AI tools for optimization. This role is 100% remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage data entry and updates in Salesforce in partnership with Sales teams
  • Leverage third-party data sources (e.g., Nielsen) and internal data to develop a source of truth for CPG manufacturer accounts
  • Create advertiser accounts at scale within internal systems
  • Review and audit CPG brand catalogs at scale, partnering with catalog teams to update and maintain data integrity
  • Ensure high-quality catalog content and accurate reporting by building reliable processes for content management and reporting infrastructure
  • Contribute to the development of scalable tools and systems to improve data infrastructure and workflows over time
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes for greater efficiency and scalability

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience in business analytics, operations, or consulting
  • Experience supporting CPG advertisers or in retail/digital media
  • Intermediate to advanced SQL skills
  • Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
  • Familiarity with catalog or data management systems; experience with large datasets is a plus
  • Ability to apply AI tools to streamline workflows and audit data at scale
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis
  • Comfortable with repetitive, detail-heavy tasks while also spotting opportunities for optimization
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively across teams

We offer a competitive salary range for this position. Most candidates who join our team are hired at the median of this range, ensuring fair and equitable compensation based on experience and qualifications.
