Job description

Our Customer is an American multinational beverage corporation headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. We are seeking a Computer Vision Engineer on a contract basis who will support the Customer’s business needs. This role is 2 days remote and 3 days onsite at our Customer's Atlanta, GA office.

This role will design, develop, and implement computer vision algorithms and systems for our projects. The successful candidate will be involved in all stages of algorithm development from the initial concept and design, through to implementation, testing, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research, analyze, and develop computer vision algorithms for image and video processing, object detection, recognition, tracking, and classification.
  • Optimize and enhance existing computer vision models and systems for better accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, machine learning experts, and product managers to integrate computer vision technology into products and services.
  • Experiment with new and emerging technologies to solve complex real-world problems using computer vision techniques.
  • Collect, clean, and preprocess visual data to be used in machine learning model training.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in machine learning and computer vision research.
  • Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
  • Create and Deploy ETL workflows using Alteryx
  • Document the development process, algorithm details, and project results for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deploy modules in AWS/Azure Cloud environment.

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a focus on computer vision, machine learning, or image processing.
  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Experience with Alteryx
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and computer vision libraries (e.g., OpenCV).
  • Proven ability to develop and implement computer vision algorithms.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Team player with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams.
  • Exposure to machine learning deployment tools like Docker, Kubernetes, etc. is beneficial.
  • Experience with deploying modules in cloud environment.
  • Experience with version control tools such as Git.
