Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.


We are seeking a highly skilled contract Database Reliability Engineer (DBRE) with a minimum of 8+ years of proven experience in complex PostgreSQL and MongoDB administration and multi-cloud architecture. While expertise in MongoDB is critical for this role, the focus will be architecting and managing the large-scale PostgreSQL environments. This pivotal position requires exceptional adaptability to quickly learn and master any new database technology or cloud platform. The role drives core technology strategy, leading all major migration and upgrade projects, on ensures the operational excellence, resilience, security, performance, and cost efficiency of the multi-terabyte scale database environments on AWS and GCP.


This position requires proven expertise in managing highly available systems, leveraging cloud databases AWS, GCP, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, and advanced DB Administration skills, including implementing compliance controls.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in PostgreSQL and MongoDB administration and multi-cloud architecture
