Job description

A partner of The Mom Project in the automotive industry is seeking a contract Dealer Contractual Manager to help support their business needs.


The Dealer Contractual Manager oversees a portfolio of change requests, ensuring dealer information is updated accurately and on time. This role serves as a subject matter expert on policy, processes, and procedures, while also supporting dealer compliance and providing guidance to stakeholders.


Responsibilities:

  • Process contractual changes in compliance with state franchise statutes and the Dealer Sales and Service Agreement.
  • Partner with dealers, dealer candidates, and internal stakeholders to gather and verify required documentation.
  • Input and manage dealer change requests within the Dealer Contractual Information Change Request (DCICR) system.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, including Legal and Market Analysis, to complete proposals.
  • Counsel dealers and field personnel on contractual policies and procedures.
  • Prepare dealer contracts and program enrollment forms; complete dealer activations and updates in internal systems.
  • Maintain accurate contractual data in the Dealer Network Planning System and manage dealer/leadership requests.
  • Draft professional correspondence and custom dealer letters for management/legal review.
  • Conduct financial analysis using Excel-based reports; analyze sales and profit forecasts and provide insights.
  • Complete Area Primary Responsibility (APR) notice requirements as outlined in agreements.
  • Request and review background checks for dealer candidates.
  • Prepare dealer add point worksheets using information from Network Planning and Investments (DNPI).
  • Support legal processes by providing testimony or depositions regarding dealer request processing.
  • Manage document accuracy through annual SharePoint audits, compliance checks, and proper archiving.
  • Ensure quality control of dealer requests within the DCICR system.
  • Assist with re-contracting activities and general office administration, including document processing, scanning, and correspondence.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA is preferred.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database management.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask.
  • Effective analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in teams.
  • Highly motivated, with a proactive and professional work ethic.


Hours and Location:


Hybrid in Warren, MI

  • Monday: Work from Home 8-5
  • Tuesday-Thursday: Work in the Cadillac Tower in Warren 8-5
  • Friday: Work from Home 8-5
