Job description
A partner of The Mom Project in the automotive industry is seeking a Dealer Sales Support & Business Analyst on a contract basis to help support their business needs.
The Dealer Sales Support & Business Analyst is a key member of the Dealer Sales Operations group, responsible for streamlining dealer network processes and providing strategic guidance to enhance sales performance. This role supports direct sales initiatives, dealer partnerships, and utility collaborations and provides actionable insights through data analytics. The position requires strong organizational skills, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Responsibilities:
Direct Sales Enablement
- Provide support for customer integration (CI) projects involving energy products such as battery storage systems, solar panels, and energy efficiency solutions.
- Contribute to the development of utility integration strategies.
- Assist direct sales efforts related to V2H (Vehicle-to-Home) and HEMs (Home Energy Management Systems) promotion.
- Support the design and execution of VIP sales programs, oversee reporting, and deliver leadership updates.
Dealer Sales Support
- Collaborate with accessories teams and Authorized Dealer Installers (ADI) to manage dealer inventory and reporting.
- Support dealer inventory sell-down strategies and execution.
- Partner with the dealer field sales team to design and implement field-level sales strategies.
- Execute programs and incentives to boost sales of charging products and adapters.
- Manage dealer reporting and dashboards using Power BI.
Data Analytics
- Build and maintain dashboards to track sales and operational performance.
- Analyze datasets to identify trends and deliver actionable recommendations.
- Create visual insights and integrate findings into presentations and reports.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in sales, operations, marketing, or the automotive sector.
- Excel proficiency – advanced formulas, pivot tables, data modeling, and automation.
- Power BI proficiency – dashboard creation, DAX, data transformation, and visualization.
- PowerPoint proficiency – building clear, compelling presentations to communicate data insights.
- At least 3 years of working directly with dealers or in a similar role.
- Experience collaborating with legal teams on sales or operational projects.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop insights.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Skilled in creating effective PowerPoint presentations with integrated data insights.
Hours and Location:
- Monday - Friday, 40 hours/week.
- Remote – open to anyone in the U.S. who works in EST
