Job description

About US

The Mom Project is excited to partner with a company that gives businesses one place to run HR, IT, and Finance. It brings together all of the workforce systems that are normally scattered across a company, like payroll, expenses, benefits, and computers. For the first time ever, you can manage and automate every part of the employee lifecycle in a single system.

Take onboarding, for example. With this company, you can hire a new employee anywhere in the world and set up their payroll, corporate card, computer, benefits, and even third-party apps like Slack and Microsoft 365—all within 90 seconds.

Based in San Francisco, CA, we have raised $1.4B from the world’s top investors—including Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Sequoia, Greenoaks, and Bedrock—and was named one of America's best startup employers by Forbes. We recently closed our Series F.

About the role

We are seeking a freelance marketer to help us scale our webinar program. You'll work on webinars for IT & Finance to drive pipeline for our IT & Spend businesses.

You will own the end-to-end strategy for driving revenue from webinars developed by our Brand and GTM teams, including promoting them across channels and via sales, and ensuring follow-up is prompt and personalized.

You’ll need to be comfortable with end-to-end execution - for example, you’ll write copy and launch promotion campaigns yourself. However, this role is also very cross-functional - you’ll work with different teams within our company. For example, you’ll partner with growth & brand teams on content development, performance marketing on paid social ads, and marketing ops on webinar setup and lead routing.

You’ll need the ability to execute across channels (paid, email, and sales outbound), excellent project management skills, extreme attention to detail, great writing abilities, and mastery of the fundamentals of marketing.

What you will do:

  • Develop and execute end-to-end demand gen plans for live and on-demand webinars, including promotion across channels and personalized follow-up by sales & marketing.
  • Ensure webinars get registrants and drive pipeline via multi-channel promotion and personalized sales + marketing follow-up.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including brand, performance marketing, and marketing ops, to drive your webinars forward.
  • Write snappy and pain-focused copy for emails and ads that compels prospects to sign up for the webinar and book demos after.
  • Partner with our performance marketing team on paid social ad campaigns to promote webinars. You’ll brief them on copy and design and monitor performance.
  • Work with our marketing ops team to set up promotion and follow-up sequences and call-downs for webinar audiences.
  • Collaborate with sales to drive registration and run effective and personalized follow up.
  • Build audiences from our database to target for email sends, using SQL, internal tooling, and Salesforce.
  • Set up landing pages in WordPress from templates.
  • Run the post-webinar gift fulfillment process.
  • Analyze and report out on performance.

What you will need:

  • 6+ years of experience in demand generation marketing.
  • Superb project management skills. You’ll need to keep the trains running on time across brand, growth, sales, and external agencies.
  • Copywriting abilities. You’ll write snappy and pain-focused copy for the webinar landing page, promotional emails, and ads to drive signups and post-webinar conversion.
  • Salesforce fluency. You should be comfortable using SFDC to analyze the performance of your webinars.
  • Comfort in Excel and SQL. You’ll use this to build audiences and build sheets to track which rep should work each lead.
  • Wordpress. You’ll develop landing pages from templates and QA their setup.
  • Experience with LinkedIn & Meta ads. You don’t need to be an expert here, but you should have used these platforms in previous roles.
  • Extreme attention to detail. Your copywriting across platforms should be top-notch, and you always QA your work - like ensuring follow-up sequences and routing are set up properly.
