Our client creates joyful, inspirational experiences for their customers through custom-crafted pull-out drawers for your existing cabinets and pantries. By designing and installing pull-out drawers and other organizational solutions, they help clients gain more space, better organization, and frustration-free access to the items they use every day. As they grow in southern Connecticut, Detroit and Dallas areas they’re looking to hire personable, driven Design Sales Consultants who are passionate about helping clients optimize their living spaces.

This commission-only role is ideal for people-oriented, self-motivated professionals who enjoy flexibility, independence, and high income potential based on performance. Designers conduct in-home design appointments, educate clients on products and services, help customers gain more space, organization, and frustration-free access to items they use every day, as well as follow up with customers post-sale and build a network of potential customers. The ideal candidate is smart, hardworking, has a genuine commitment to helping people, and understands how to treat others with respect and dignity.

Job Summary

At our client's company, the designers are the lifeblood of the company. They turn the frustration and problems that our clients have with their living spaces into a beautiful enjoyment of their home. Designers focus on the real issues that people are trying to solve, not on selling a product that people don't need. They build relationships with potential clients who want to get the advice, design, and expertise of a designer. Successful designers commit to helping people by educating them on the products and possibilities of the offered service. While designers work independently, they are part of a supportive team environment. Designers train together as a cohort, participate in company-led team-building activities, and have access to a network of support to help them succeed.

Responsibilities

  1. Conduct in-home design appointments based on company-generated leads and self-generated appointments
  2. Upload leads, orders, estimates, and client designs/photos promptly
  3. Take client deposits from each sale
  4. Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and generate referrals
  5. Build and maintain a network of potential customers through networking and referrals
  6. Attend and participate in designer training and ongoing training from the Sales Director

Qualifications

  1. Ability to quickly learn and accurately use technology, design/measure, gather, and document details
  2. Strong organizational and oral/written professional communication skills
  3. Friendly, competitive, and driven nature
  4. Teamwork skills and desire to be part of a supportive network
  5. Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
