Job description
Our customer is a leading global media and entertainment company that creates and distributes a large portfolio of content and brands across television, film, and streaming and is available in over 200 countries and territories and over 45 languages. Headquartered in New York, NY with more than 30 office locations in the United States.
We are seeking a Designer on a contract basis within their Concept + Design Studio team. This role will be on-site in their Hudson Yards (New York City) office.
Concept + Design Studio is the full-service in-house partner for all things creative within Marketing’s Global Brand & Creative, Direct to Consumer. Their work spans multiple teams and encompasses brand identity, campaigns, toolkits, key art, OOH, motion graphics, and print and digital design. Together, we create and translate the brand for any medium to best serve our stories.
We are seeking a high-energy, dedicated Designer passionate about visual communications, branding, and design. As part of the Brand Design team, the Designer will be integral bringing exciting projects to life. They will be an advocate for the visual identity of our brand and work to consistently ideate and evolve the brand through various platforms. Responsibilities:
- Design attention-catching static creative across full-funnel media, including custom digital display, OOH, and human centered experiential brand moments that support key marketing and brand priorities.
- Translate emerging cultural trends and organic social insights into compelling visual concepts and brand campaigns. You are not just designing assets; you are crafting narratives that connect with the audience on a deeper level.
- Design high-impact visual content (digital, social, print, experiential) that translates cultural insights into brand-aligned, visually compelling assets.
- With the guidance of Art Director and VP, Brand Design, ideate and initiate new formats of content in response to the zeitgeist.
- Ability to pivot quickly based on real-time cultural moments and feedback from stakeholders.
- Manage multiple projects, producing high-quality designs in a timely manner.
- Partner with Senior Designer and Art Director to maintain and evolve brand templates design, designing presentations and updating brand style guides to ensure global brand consistency.
- Help support the team to bring ideas to life, from concepting to presentation.
Qualifications
- Degree in Graphic Design or related coursework in the creative field
- Minimum of 3 years of professional graphic design experience, agency or in-house
- High proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud – including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Adobe Firefly
- Deep understanding of composition, typographic systems, visual hierarchy, and the foundational principles of graphic design across print and digital environments
- A diverse portfolio that demonstrates thoughtful design thinking, a clear creative process, and well-executed visual solutions
- Self-starter with the passion, ability, and creative energy to work in a fast-paced environment
- Acute attention to detail and the ability to provide effective design solutions
- Ability to present ideas clearly, thoughtfully and enthusiastically
- Ability to successfully manage time, workflow, and schedule
- Ability to change and grow with the industry
