Our Customer is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is 100% remote.
Responsibilities:
- Provide phone-based desktop support, technical assistance, and problem resolution
- Provide on-site desktop support and troubleshooting services
- Diagnose and resolve routine to moderately complex desktop hardware and software issues
- Escalate and coordinate issues with internal support teams and external vendors as needed
- Perform desktop support consulting and technical guidance for end users
- Complete assigned special projects and additional support activities
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience providing desktop support in a technical support environment
- Experience troubleshooting routine to moderately complex desktop hardware and software issues
- Knowledge of PC/LAN technology
- Ability to collaborate with internal support teams and external vendors
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple support requests and priorities
